Senior Leadership Team

John Mason

Managing Director

John Mason, based in Dublin, leads SRL’s strategy to grow its Ireland subsidiary's capabilities and market share. A key priority is expanding the Dublin team to meet the increasing demand for SRL’s solutions. Mason, formerly Emtez's group sales director, brings 25 years of experience in business development and sales, with a proven track record in corporate growth strategies across Irish and international markets.

Paul Curran

Business Development Manager

With over 30 years' experience in the road and traffic management industry, Paul brings an impressive track record of expertise and innovation to SRL. Paul successfully ran a road marking and traffic signs business from 1992 to 2013 before working on joint projects with Easy Street Asphalt and Breedon Aggregates across the US and UK. Most recently, Paul worked in conjunction with Mac Roads from 2018 to 2025, further strengthening his industry knowledge and leadership experience. Among his key achievements are managing major projects such as line painting at Dromoland and the Arklow Bypass, contributing to Traffic Infrastructure Ireland (TII) traffic sign project, and securing BBA approval for Easy Street Asphalt in the UK.

Paul Devereux

VMS Manager

Paul Devereux joined SRL Ireland in May 2025. With nearly three years previously spent as VMS Division Manager at Laois Hire, Paul brings a wealth of expertise in variable message signage—a background that proves invaluable in his role at SRL. His experience and strategic vision continue to drive growth and innovation across the Irish market.

Joe McWilliams

Head of Operations - North

Joe McWilliams is a dedicated and highly organised professional at SRL Traffic Systems, where he has built an impressive career over the past eight years. Having risen through the ranks, Joe is known for his efficiency, commitment, and in-depth understanding of the business. His hands-on experience and steady progression reflect his strong work ethic and value to the team.

Sophie Noakes

Head of Marketing

Sophie is responsible for directing SRL’s marketing activity, which not only supports our ambitious commercial growth strategy but also facilitates the development and endurance of strong and fruitful relationships with our diverse group of stakeholders. Sophie joined SRL in 2022, with strong technology marketing credentials gained both in-house and at one of the region’s leading creative agencies. Holding a marketing degree from the University of Manchester, she has worked both in the UK and internationally.
